    I have just purchased a basic kindle. I have got to the welcome page but the page turner button doesn't work!

    I tried to download the instructions but ended up with advice on air conditioner with a reply in french.  I think I will have to return this kindle.

      I have answered this already. Go to Kindle support at Amazon.com. I gave you the link to their site. You called it gobbledygook.
