      Yes, 102 is fever temp, get the doctor in.

        And if the child is a boy, high fevers may cause sterility.

            The temperature at 102 is not dangerous (meaning her brain is not cooking yet). The danger is if it lasts and/or keeps rising and also what is causing the fever. Take her to see a doctor. There is a flu going around that is killing kids. Go to the ER.
