I sent mine back. Frustrated me. Maybe mine was broken. I don't like to read anyway and it was a gift. You can go to You Tube and then write How do I use a Kindle. That might help. Maybe someone else will come along. Good luck and happy reading.

My Kindle confused me at first but, I stuck with it. Now I'm downloading free books, audible and to be read. I'm reading more and more like one should. I don't think you should have given up but, that's just me.....
