    If I upgrade to windows 8 will all my pic's and files be ok?

    I currently have windows 7 and though I would upgrade to windows 8 for the 39 dollar deal, I was wondering if all my pic's i have stored on my computer will be still there when I do it?

      I do not know the answer to this. You will want to check with Microsoft for an accurate answer but to be safe, you could always transfer all files that you do not want to risk losing to a thumb drive or an external hard drive.
