    i forgot my password on my laptop and cannot get in. how do i reset the password?

    I forgot the password to the admin user on my laptop. I do not have a disk / back up drive to use. How do i get into the user account and change the password/ reset the password?

      What's your operating system? 


      Are you sure you ever made a password? Try hitting enter instead of putting in a password.
