    calling all of you academians who took French in H.S.  What does this phrase mean in English ......'' Cats have a certain je ne sais quoi ''   I will be eternally greatful for the answer.

      "I don`t know what"!..It translates as...as if saying...cats have a certain mystery about them...(Wbms)!

        When translated to english  je ne sais quoi comes up as >>> I do not know that.


        The phrase would read >>>Cats have a certain I do not know that.Doesn't make sense, does it ?
