When it comes to new ideas watchmaking as a link whole can be link stale or at the very least slow. In some ways that's a good thing. I like that I can understand how a watch works because it's remained largely the same since Thomas Mudge invented the lever escapement in 1755. But innovation marches on. link And there are so many ways to push things forward. The Carrera Plasma is a material advance in more ways than one.
