    what is the clicking sound when i start my 1998 astro van?

    It starts, just has this clickign for about 2 minutes after its runing comeing from under the passanger side dash.

      It could be the starter relay going bad. I believe the relay for this van is under the dash.

        Yes, I think your right Colleen.

        Most probably your electric fuel pump catching up.If it clicks for a couple of minutes & then stops I would say that's what it is.

          If it's actually not starting and it clicks when you turn the key, that means the battery is dead.
