how many different species of pigeon are there in the world?

For some reason ,I thought that it was 525 ,a recent tv prog,mentioned that it was 310.Don't count the many different varieties of feral pigeon or peoples racing pigeons ,I mean recognised species.

You're safe AFTER they plow the roads and the sidewalks. I was out for a walk in it today, as a matter of fact. :)

No. I actually walked to a restaurant that serves "my kind of food". ("We meet your special dietary needs".) Yay!! It was delicious too. First venture after five months.

Small little restaurant...Sat. hours are only 11-2PM (lunch & breakfast) There were about a dozen people in there and 3-4 came in just to "take-out".
