    Is existentialism still considered a legitimate philosophy?

    I enjoyed studying existentialism, I found its arguements deep and challenging. It helped shape my own thoughts on values and virtues much more than the Americanized worship of ego, financial wealth and slave labor secrets.    

    Why wouldn't it be? Different philsophies don't fall off of some list because they lose adherents or you wouldn't study some of the ancients.
