I think that both internal traits, such as wisdom, kindness, and honesty, and external traits, such as beauty, both determine what people think of others. There are many people that have no special talent or ability, and they are famous mostly because they are beautiful. And on the other side, people like Archimedes or Einstein, who's appearance has nothing to do with why they got famous, got famous for creating and developing inventions and new approaches.
