      I found two websites that list that top resources-rich countries in the world, and their lists looks rather different:
      The first website claims that Russia is the country that has the most resources: total resource value: $75.7 trillion (http://247wallst.com/2012/04/18/the-worlds-most-resource-rich-countries/3/),
      and       the second website claims that South Africa is the country that has the most resources: $2,494 billion in metal & ore reserves (http://www.businessinsider.com/15-resource-rich-countries-2010-4?op=1).
