    i don't want to waste my monthly data allocation on automatic video advertising popups that occur and run when i get to some websites, open articles while in aol and other sites, etc

      If they are activated by highlighted words, then the only way you can stop them is by avoiding touching them with your cursor. Some websites have them pop up automatically. You can not stop those at all except to close the website page.

        thx, I’ve been closing the sites then right away reopening them and most of the time without the video ad. I’ll be intently scrutinizing for highlighted text from now on.
