    in science what does an open circuit look like?

    In school; subject science, i'm learning about electricity such as circuits. I have a test tomorrow- Wednsday january 9, 2013 and i dont know what an open or closed circuit looks like, i have to draw a diagram of the two circuits and i dont know what they look like. I need help.
