If having friends is important to you, be a friend. You can’t miss. I was like that when I was your age. I wanted to be a cheerleader realllly bad. I smiled at people - all people. I made it. Rah! Rah! Rah! And lucky lucky me, my best friend was the homecoming queen. OOOPH! (I smiled through her crowning but it was hard)  

ask him questions about himself. When you find out what he's interested in.......ask him questions about that subject. Then, make him feel that he's special......that he's different in a good way......make him feel that he's smart, sharp, good looking. And don't get too deeply involved in the relationship, b/c you're too  young. You should be going out on group dates, if at all.

Just be yourself; dont pretend to be anyone but yourself.
