            Our North American society seems to require salt and sugar in everything!

            This was a surprise to me, when I bought the ice cream mix from the ice cream factory, dairy. The manager there told me to make sure to add a bit of salt, he said it is required to bring out the full chocolate flavor. When we would make ice cream in our commercial machine at the school, we would do about 90 gals. in a day. It was a special treat for our cafeteria, and we did this a few times per year.
