      There are more people today who are living more so than ever.........b/c of all the advances in medical science. There are a lot of people walking around who are living on borrowed time. And the mortality rate of newborn adn premature babies has gotten better.

        It  depends on when you believe humans started. Creationists believe we started 6,000 years ago, but science says Homo sapiens evolved about a million years ago in which case there have been many more people historically than are living today.
