Was there a yiddish version of the Tennesse Waltz titled 'Tennessee Fralich'? I remember hearing it after Patti Page's 'Tennesse Waltz' became popular in the early 1950's
My father was in the record distribution business in Saint Louis, Mo. in the 1950-1960's.
That's who I got the record [78 or 45 rpm] from. Of course, I have no idea where it is.
If there is/was that yiddish song, how could I go about finding the words and music [which I am sure was the same as Patti Page's version [or Pee Wee King's, who wrote & recorded it for country music fans ] or performance? I looked it up on U-Tube, but could not find it.
Thanks,
