I have acid reflux. I've been taking pantoprazole as prescribed for the past month. My stomach feels fine. I dont want to continue taking this medication forever. Although I 've taken this medication in the last 3 months and it has stopped my acid reflux. I am 45 years old, and was told by the pharmarcist that long term this medication can cause bone fractures. I dont wish to continue taking this medication. I avoid foods that will contribute to this reflux. Will I need to in the future?
