You know, I am not certain of this but under the dash there's a module that will pull out, very small about the size of a pack of matches. I believe this is a security device and it must match the key. Once again, I am not certain of this but I do know there's a security chip under the dash, possibly near the steering wheel. Pull this out and then start the car again. This was one of GM's marketing useless marketing schemes designed to stop someone from 'hot-wiring' your car..
