Enter your garage with your Sears Craftsman remote and press and hold the "Smart" button the back of your garage motor unit. You may need a ladder or to move your car to do this.

Release the "Smart" button once the motor's LED light starts blinking, and press and hold the "Open" button on your remote within 30 seconds.
3
Hold the button until the main light on the motor flashes twice, then release.
4
Wait 30 seconds for the LED light on the system to stop blinking, and the programming will be completed.
