    which washer goes where in new sink drain

    My new sink drain came with a thick rubber washer, and a thin red wafer, and I need to know which goes inside the sink on top to keep ikt from leaking

      The flat one is placed on the the tube, before it is inserted into the hole. 


      The tapered one is then put on under the sink, before the large hex mounting ring, beveled side UP, WBMS
