I was watching a DVD movie on my lap top . suddenly it went off and i had to take the the CD off using a needle !! the CD after ward disappear on my lap top (vista) and I can not play any CD it does not make any reaction when I put any CD !! I tried to delete the upper and lower filter but it did not appear after I follow all steps !!

      Sounds like your computer over heated. You may have fried the motherboard. You will need to take your computer in for repairs I think.
