No-one. You can't trust anyone in this world, so dont lay your secrets out in their hands for them to manipulate as they wish. Respect yourself and that you have the power to control your own life and dont give them the satisfaction of knowing that they have a hold over you and secrets that you hold. SO, no. Noone is your best friend and remember that. People argue. People have falling outs. If that happens between you two, your secrets can be a secret one day and publicised another. Trust no-one and be your own best friend. x

Poor you. I have a few "best" friends that I would trust with my life. These friendships have lasted for 58 years, 56 years, 42 years, 19 years and 17 years. There are a few others that have lasted for more than 10 years. You must be choosing the wrong people!

yeah, i guess i might have... but still, with the experience i have had, you can't trust people as much as i'd like to trust them... its depressing when i think about it all, but theres no way i could trust the people i know with my life... you're really lucky :')

Well, I guess it's best to give friendships a while to grow and don't divulge everything about yourself, in the beginning. You'll get a good sense of people, if you give it some time. Let them do the talking...they'll tell you who they are.
