Human egg(s) are released monthly by ladies who have their periods. the egg pops out of the ovary and begins a decent down a fallopian tube, and if not fertilized by a sperm, goes into the uterus and dies. If impregnation occurs (the sperm meets the egg approx 2/3rds the way down the fallopian tube) it will travel into the uterus and usually imbeds in the top part of the uterus called the fundus. If all goes well approx 40 weeks after the woman's last period she will deliver a healthy happy baby.
