Your vin number will be stamped not raised letters on the frame about the right front spring mount.
It will be probably faint and hard to see you most probably will have to use a wire brush to clean away the paint.
If you can't see it then you can use the engine stamped number.

Should be, if not you'll have to do the other side too, it's an old car, not that much info out there.
