      pretty much you can press the touch sensitive button next to your power button on your laptop, or on the desktop it says hp webcam. and when hp quick play starts up, hit the little media button second from the left. then select usb video device. and at the bottom there are options for taking pictures or recording videos. they're stored on the "public" user profile on the computer.

        Go to your start button, in the programs search type in webcam. When it shows in the results box, right click on it and open.

          My HP has a button on the left side of the keyboard. #rd one down below the esc. it opens a number of tabs. click the one that looks like a movie set take board.
