    1991 ford ranger will not start

    I was driving the truck and the truck just cut off and will not start back iit just spins over had ignition modual cked and it was ok  also replaced 1 coil pack other one had fire

        OK, so the engine cranks and turns over but nothing more. I'm going to assume that you have checked to make sure you have gas. Here is the guide for your issue > http://www.samarins.com/diagnose/index2.html

        Another thing to check is the fuel pump.

        it is pumping gas. Check gas filter also.

        put coil pack on also. Fuel filter ok pumping gas

        Then it could be your points. Check all spark plugs to make sure they are secure. For the points, make sure the distributor cap is on securely. if it's lose, check to make sure the points are clean and seated properly.
