Check the unit for an indicator light. Most spa and pool ozonators have one.
Check the main water jet. The ozonator is designed to generate tiny bubbles of ozone, which the jet disperses in the water. You should be able to see these bubbles.
Turn the output control to increase. If the tiny ozone bubbles do not appear, even at high output settings, the ozonator probably needs servicing.
