I burst into song whenever I'm feeling happy, contented or just lost in thought. Sometimes, I don't even realize that I'm singing until someone makes a comment...."You sound happy today". I don't think that I am afflicted with some kind of disease or condition. Do you?

I would suspect it is a condition of the nervous system known as Tourette Syndrome. TS causes people to have “tics”. There are two types of tics—motor and vocal: Vocal tics are sounds that a person makes with his or her voice. Examples of vocal tics include humming, clearing the throat, or yelling out a word or phrase. How often a person has tics changes a lot over time and even though the symptoms might appear, disappear, and reappear, these conditions are considered chronic.

There is a condition like the one you are describing actually, it's called Misophonia. This one girl has it and she bursts out humming, and there is trigger sounds for that to happen.
