Lots of people think your way.  Other things to consider: Do you have the money, time, & patince to raise a child?? 10 years ago it was estimated to cost $700 a month to care for a baby (this did not include housing, gasoline, babysitters/daycare, adult food, health insurance for mom/baby, etc)???? Now adays make it at least $1000 extra a month.  that's a lot of $$.  (and don't count on Dad because in the US there are a ton of 'dead beat Dads" that get away without paying much (if anything) for years and years!!!  Kids need good role models and true love and devotion from both ADULT males and females (IMO).
