    can i sue someone for damage done to my home even though i never involved the police

    i had some friends staying over and an arguement broke out in the middle of the night and my door got damaged one of the guilty parties is paying his share but i can't get the other person to pay for his part to fix the damage

      get a lawyer to write to the person and threaten civil action,that should start the ball rolling in your favour.
