    breaks pulling & getting hot

My 2000 ford f350 super duty 4wd crewcab breaks occasionally start pulling one direction or the other, at the same time the vehicle acts like it has a flat tire. This just started so I would like to fix it before causing additional damage or wear. What is the problem with my breaking system? Can this be fixed by   a backyard mechanic or should it be fixed by a break specialist or dealer?

Sounds as if you need a front wheel alignment which should be done at a garage.
