No. He's a socialist with dictator tendencies. 

I pretty much agree with Colleen. He's not quite a Communist, but I personally think he admires them. His goal is for the US to follow the path of Socialists in Europe. The results of that are seen in countries like France, Spain and Greece. Keep up with the news to find out what's happening to them. It's a glimpse of our not too distant future.

 Obama's power in nearly unchecked since he's been re-elected and can't run again. Plus he has established the habit of bypassing Congress (exercising executive privilege) if they don't give him what he wants. We are about to see a lot of changes in this country.
