I have a Garman Roadmaster. When I did mine I typed in the name of my gps and went to their website and they downloaded a more recent copy of the maps. You will need a wire from your gps to the usb on your computer. They will download it and delete the old. It will also cost you some money so have a credit card handy. If you cant do this go to BJ's or Wallmart and look in their computer isles and see if you can find a file there to buy. Hope this helps. Good luck.
