    Try these https://www.google.com.au/search?q=google&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&client=safari#sclient=tablet-gws&hl=en&client=safari&tbo=d&q=set+timing+oldsmobile+307&oq=oldsmobile+timing+sett&gs_l=tablet-gws.1.2.0i8i13i30l3.2747.8337.1.13983.12.9.0.3.3.0.311.2202.2-8j1.9.0.les%3B..0.0...1ac.1.tJLKe9sgH5U&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&fp=4bf6202523290014&bpcl=38897761&biw=1024&bih=672

First locate the timing marks just above the crank pulley, Clean them off with brake cleaner or carb cleaner. Take white out and "paint" the zero mark  so it can be seen easily. Repeat on the crank pulley.

Under the distributor cap there is a 9/16 nut loosen it slightly till you can turn the distributor.

Hook up a timing light to the # 1 plug wire and to the battery. Start the car. shoot the light down onto the timing marks most of those cars like to run at 10 degrees before TDC ( top dead center). DO NOT put your hand directly on top of the distributor cap! This will hurt you in a bad way!.

    Hope this helps
