      It all depends on who I'm talking to and if I know them well or not.......Merry Christmas!

        I've always said Merry Christmas! But working in a casino- we are told to say Happy Holidays.However Santa hats on a guest will get a Merry Christmas!

          Both. To heck with PC. For some it's the imaginary birthday for Christ, for others, it's a holiday of sharing, not for claiming ownership. For still others, it's all about Santa. So Merry Christmas to the Christians and Happy Holiday to the non Christ followers.

                  Do you shop at stores that only have Happy Holidays signage up? Or do you shop only at the stores that have Merry Christmas signage?

                  I seldom shop at stores, most gifts I make. It's more personal. When I do shop it's at small country stores that are privately own and have Merry Christmas displayed. I don't believe in spending money I don't have. I use what I have and not a penny more. This year I made market baskets and put several different kinds of home made jellies in it. I also wrapped them in 100% cotton dish cloths I crochet. It's simple, but it's a part of me you can't buy.
