In my opinion, if your wife is not happy, try talking to her and figuring out what she is going through. Maybe there is something you don't know about. Showing her you love her may also help to improve her mood, for instance, you can buy her flowers, or jewelry.

Was she ever happy since she met you or married you? Maybe you or both of you can recreate what existed. (I made my wife happy by filing for divorce. Now, she has regrets).

New nighty, your favorite fragrance, dinner out ... just being together close and warm.

Love her and let her know it. Respect and communication is a help.....

If she wants to be happy, then you have a chance.  If she's mentally ill, then she needs outside help.  Communicate calmly and sweetly.  Hold her.  Hug her.  Lie on the bed and just look at each other and talk.
