Most of those are scams. They say the bird is free but they charge thousands for shipping and handling.
I've never found one that is. I tried a few of them because at a time I wanted a large parrot or Macaw. That's when I found out about the scam of calling the birds free.

This is a general question and answer forum. This forum is not really designed for buying, trading, selling or giving away items or living things. Try bird rescue places in your area or place an ad on Craigslist. Ads are free there. http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites/ Another place to post it is your local veterinarian offices. Sometimes people post animals they are giving away there.
