Gateway Laptop, Model 7322GZ, Serial Nr: RH483650G1444, Made in China

Monitor will not light up. Very low dimly lit. Please explain what component/item to replace and instructions on how to replace the worn out part. Checked for a loose connection but it was tightly connected.
