When you use the Buy it Now feature on eBay, besides clicking on the Buy it Now, you must have also clicked on the "Confirm" that is always the next step. You can explain to the seller in the manner you just did to us, but the seller may not believe it because it would take the 2 specific clicks to end the listing. It would not be sent to you unless you paid for the item. The seller can cancel, but has the right to list you as a "non-paying bidder". This would affect your reputation with another seller on a different item..some sellers specify they will only sell to bidders with a certain amount of positive transactions. This is because a lot of people bid on an auction, or use Buy it Now, and then do not pay, becoming non-paying bidders. If the listing said "must have Paypal account" to bid, and you do not, it would not take your Buy it Now bid. Best to explain to the Seller that you had not intended to purchase, cannot purchase, give a sincere apology, and hope for the Seller's friendliness.
