    Does shrimp ever taste like fish?

    I love shrimp. The other night I went to a much-enjoyed restaurant and the shrimp tasted like fish. <GAG>  Is this usual? I didn't say anything. I felt confused. I hate fish. Hate it.

      Its very similar to prawn, although I think prawn is not that well known in the US. Yes it does taste fishy..since it is a shell fish.As with most seafood and shellfish, it shouldnt smell extremely fishy when you buy it, otherwise its a good sign its been sitting around for a while. It should smell fresh and clean, of the sea.

        but shrimp thought are tastier they add calories.No shrimp are tastier.
