Call Child Protective Services in your 

area immediately, to get the ball rolling.

Your granddaughter needs you.

God bless you Grandma, the children are so lucky to have such a grandmother!  I think that you could certainly get custody but as Dardaigh has stated, you must begin with Child Protective Services or DSS for your State.  Good luck and thank you for being there in the lives of these precious children.,..  Much love to you!  

As much as I hate them, CPS is the way to go.  They are serious when it comes to a child's well being....

Sounds Like both your daughter and your granddaughter need help, Well done for starting that process and not ignore the situation!  Listen to everyone, you need help to help them and the best people would be Social services, don't forget yourself in this.  As the primary carer you need help too.  I wish your whole family all the best at this difficult time.
