      The date for Thanksgiving day 2012 is 11/22/12.

        It seems very early this year. Usually it's around the 25th or 27th. I've already thawed my turkey...

        Thanksgiving is celebrated each year on the fourth Thursday of November (typically this is the last Thursday in Nov). It seems early this year because there are 5 Thursdays in this particular November. We do not always have 5 Thursdays. As for "jumping on you", I did not jump on you.
