we have a Simpson Ezi Sensor 6kg top loader. The problem is when turned on and setting everything as normal nothing happens, LD keeps coming up on the screen which I imagine meens (LID)?Ive checked what I can but cant find anything. would you have any suggestions? Many Thanks Cameron.

If you have an owner's manual, see if there is an installation process or a parts identifier section. There could be an item (like a carrige lock button) for transporting--Ive had that be the culprit before, or, a piece that opens a circuit when you close the lid. (like a washing machine lid before it will spin) that could be misaligned or, hopefully not, broken off. Good luck!
