Males cats especially want to mark their territory. There are sprays and things you can buy that supposedly stop the scent so they won't mark there anymore, but good luck. My male cat didn't stop until he marked all around the baseboard. :(
I finally took out my carpeting and put in a floor covering that I could easily wipe up.

yeah i have all wood flooring through the house an he still does it on his bed an the gaming chair an on our clothes ,grrrh , oh an he chews wires aswell he's not a cat he's a toddler stuck in his terrible two's i can't seem to part with him though ,lost in cat world plz advise ,thx
