    3. i have an antoria guitar that looks fairly old,it is an accoustic with f holes and i am told you can tell the year of make by the serial number ie the first 2 numbers give you the year? if this is the case then my guitar dates back to 1944 as the serial num is 449190.Can anyone tell me if this is right please.

      If you take it to a shop that sells musical instruments, the can probably answer this better than any of us.
