in the wild, there are many different colored cats. Look at bobcats, lynxs, lions,tigers, panthers, cougars, leapards. That's where our modern day domestic cats got the coloring.
As for the poodle, a woman vet told me that all dogs are descended from Wolves .( I have my doubts ) At any rate, the reason some dogs are miniature or toy is that they were bred down and bred down by breeders to make them cute ----to make money.....which I am against.- - --the part about exploiting those dogs. A standard Poodle is a big dog. So is a standard Schnauzer. But, you never see them anymore :-(
