      Treatments are much better these days, my mother had a stroke 23 years ago and she was just put in a hospital bed and left to die. I have had three friends have strokes in the past 2 or 3 years and with good treatment they have recovered.

        Absolute bed rest. Thank God we've come a long way with treatment.........
