                        Howdy!

In slang, a Mickey Finn (or simply Mickey) is a drink laced with a drug (especially chloral hydrate) given to someone without his knowledge in order to incapacitate him. Serving someone a Mickey is most commonly referred to as slipping a mickey, sometimes spelled "slipping a mickie".

It was a popular custom in Seattle Washington to “pick-up” captives for their trip to Shanghai and feed the crew long-pig on the trip.
